Twice a year the District sets aside time for teachers to conduct assessments with small groups of children. The information from these assessments helps to guide instruction for each individual student. The fall assessments or “Modified Contact Days” are August 24th and August 27th. Your child will come to school for only one half of one of those days. A SignUp Genius will be posted on Elk Creek’s website. You can find the signup using the quicklink “Elk Creek SignUps” along the left side of the homepage, or under Family Resources>Elk Creek Signups. Bus transportation (for those that ride a bus) on Modified Contact Days runs on a regular schedule (pickups in the mornings and drop offs in the afternoon). Parents will need to provide mid day pick up or drop off transportation. Elk Creek’s onsite before and after school daycare program will be open all day on the 24th and 27, so if daycare is needed, please go online to register with Innovation Learning: https://innovationlearning.com/
