Student Leadership

At Elk Creek, we see Student Leadership as very student driven. Our first meeting is a dialogue and we generate ideas of what the kids want to get out of this year of leadership. We, of course, have some traditions that we continue such as supporting Veterans Day, Day Without Hate, beautifying our school environment, helping students and staff, and reaching out to the community and supporting needs there.

Our leadership students understand the power of service and helping others. We follow our Elk Creek Creed.  Our meetings are informal, energetic, and relaxed, yet with a common goal in mind each morning.

Student Leadership does not have a set schedule; we meet as needed, and we try to accommodate for those participating in other morning activities like choir (that was in past years, not sure about choir this year). In addition, Mr. Robert's teaching days at Elk Creek vary.  Upcoming meetings are posted on the Student Leadership calendar, as well as in the hallway at school.

Please contact Kim Freeman, Molly Martin, or Bryant Robert for more information about Student Leadership.
